French Polynesia day 6

Palm tree and sailboats on Bora Bora

There are no more blues left to be discovered.  Every conceivable shade of the color blue exists right here, in the skies and between the beaches and the surrounding reef of Bora Bora.   It is overwhelming.  Cameras and computer screens cannot possibly convey the beauty.  It is almost a religious experience.  Tricia was right.  She had tears in her eyes and a lump in her throat just talking about it.  If heaven is like this, we are ready for the journey.  At this point we can only share a few photos while we try to take it all in.  This is the most beautiful place we have ever visited.

We walked along the coast, trying to absorb it all, stopping for lunch at a sand-floored restaurant named Bloody Mary's, where all the rich and famous stop for lunch.  Snorkeling the lagoon adjoining our bungalow took up the rest of our day.  Thank you, God.
